From "Raised In Guilt Died In Shame" (CHUNK034, released December 2015).
This is the successor of Sudden Harry & The Mighty Machines, now more electronic, but noisy as hell like before. The whole album deals with political issues, but is also personal, and stands in tradition of the early 80s bands like Pop Group, The Fall, Gang Of Four etc. It's best heard via head phones.
lyrics
chorus:
sort of paranoid job
sort of paranoid job
if business goes to hell
and life became
kind of stale
i've got a job to do
i've got a sort of paranoid job to do
chorus:
they gave you the password
they supply you with weaponry
they provide with power
and pave the way with gold
chorus2:
a paranoid - a paranoid - a paranoid sort of job
a paranoid - a paranoid - a paranoid sort of job
it's time to start the mission
forget about your passion
just do the movement
and do the paranoid job
