Pegmayer arose from the idea to do a soft, ambiental house or tech sound with a small amount of sounds, and a small amount of melodies. Pegmayer later used lots of vintage drum box sounds to get his special appearance..
The name "Chronomode" comes from "chronos" (means colour), "Mono" for "mono coloured" and "mode" for the way Pegmayer constructs his tracks. So his tracks are very smooth and have no compressors in the end mix (in opposite to Daubenkötter). There are just a few chords or synth sounds surrounded by a few decent drum sounds, and the grooves mostly got an "up again"- element, and all is very unobtrusive.
Comes with a 2 sided booklet and inlay for re-creating a cd-r.
